KWiSE hosted the KWiSE-Amgen Luncheon for Korean researchers working at Amgen South
San Francisco. This event was organized to introduce KWiSE’s mission and activities while also
serving as an opportunity to recruit new members. Additionally, it aimed to foster stronger
networking among Korean researchers within Amgen.
During the event, we provided an overview of KWiSE’s purpose and key initiatives, including an
introduction to the mentoring program planned for 2025. Attendees also had the opportunity to
get to know one another, and share their experiences.
We hope that this event marks the beginning of more active engagement among Korean
researchers at Amgen and serves as a foundation for strengthening professional connections.

KWiSE는 Amgen South San Francisco에 근무하는 한국인 연구원들을 대상으로 KWiSE-
Amgen Luncheon을 개최하였습니다. 이번 행사는 KWiSE의 활동을 알리고 신규 멤버를
리크루팅하기 위한 목적으로 기획되었으며, Amgen 내 한인 연구원들의 네트워크를 활성화하는
계기가 되고자 진행되었습니다.
행사에서는 KWiSE의 설립 목적과 주요 활동을 소개하고, 2025년 멘토링 프로그램에 대한
안내도 진행하였습니다. 참석자들은 서로를 알아가는 시간을 가지며 연구 및 업무 경험을
공유하였습니다.
이번 Luncheon을 통해 Amgen 연구원들과의 첫 공식적인 만남이 이루어진 만큼, 앞으로도 한인
연구원들 간의 교류가 더욱 활발해지기를 기대합니다
