On May 2, the Global Cross-Mentoring Program Kickoff Meeting, co-hosted by KWiSE and WiSET, was successfully held online. Participants from the San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego regions joined the event, which opened with welcome remarks from the WiSET organizing committee and the national president of KWiSE.
Following the opening, attendees moved into regional sessions, where mentors were introduced and local chapter leaders presented their plans for this year’s mentoring program. The session also included an overview of the communication structure and a Q&A segment with mentees, fostering an engaging and interactive atmosphere.
Looking ahead, we are excited to see mentors and mentees grow together as true partners—sharing insights, building trust, and empowering one another through monthly programs.

5월 2일, KWiSE와 WiSET가 공동 주최한 글로벌 크로스 멘토링 프로그램 킥오프 미팅이 온라인으로 성공적으로 개최되었습니다.
이번 행사에는 샌프란시스코, 로스앤젤레스, 샌디에고 지역이 함께 참여하였으며, WiSET 진행위원들과 KWiSE 전체회장님의 환영 인사로 행사의 문을 열었습니다.
이후 각 지역별로 나뉘어 오프닝 세션이 진행되었고, 멘토들의 소개와 함께 각 지역 회장단이 올해 멘토링 프로그램의 계획을 공유했습니다. 더불어 향후 커뮤니케이션 방식에 대한 설명과 멘티들의 질의응답 시간도 마련되어 활발한 소통이 이루어졌습니다.
앞으로 매달 이어질 프로그램들을 통해, 멘토와 멘티가 서로의 경험과 통찰을 나누고, 함께 성장해 나갈 수 있는 진정한 동반자로 발전해 가기를 기대합니다.
